friction disc, outer teeth

Exedy/Dynax single sided friction disc - supplier info: thickness 0,063" / 1,60 mm - 6 external teeth - outer diameter 7,209" / 183,1 mm - inner diameter 6,417" / 163 mm - Tan/brown friction material - Grooved - 2002-up

During the end of 2001 and beginning 2002 the friction disc for 2nd coast was changed from O-FRD-5L40E-DC/2CO-ET (36 teeth) to O-FRD-5L40E-2CO-ET (6 teeth) - as not all vehicles / transmissions were changed at the same date, please check carefully for vehicles/transmissions from that period which friction disc is required for your job.

The friction disc for the direct clutch remained the same as far as we know.

5L40E, 5L50E use 3 of these discs in second coast clutch

4L40E does not have a 2nd coast clutch
