Excessive or irregular wear of the Mercedes 722.6, 722.9 front cover hub bore can create functional problems, including leakage and clearance issues. Installing Sonnax pilot bushing MB-B-1 to restore the bore as well as correctly align and support the turbine shaft requires machining and use of Sonnax debris barrier tool MB-B-1T.
